as leftists and bigots are getting all riled up about holocaust deniers, we
should instead look at the greatest lie of the 20th century...the lie of
palestine.

the facts is....during muslem rule, there never was a seperate palestinian
state or nation.

that fact is...the arab community of "palestine" was quite small until the
jews started moving in in large numbers during the 1880s. arabs from all
over the middle east moved to palestine to profit from the new jobs and
industries created by the jews.

the fact is.......the arabs were told by their leaders to leave palestine
during the 1948 war and make way for the victorious arab armies. thats why
they left and not from israeli pressure.

the fact is...the majority of people in jerusalem have been jewish since the
1880s.

the fact is..before 1948...all palestinian institutions in the british
mandate of palestine...were jewish. the palestine post, the palestine
symphony, the palestine police, were all jewish. the arabs wanted nothing
to do with anything palestinian. they wanted a pan-arab nationalist state.

the fact is...the "palestinians" only started calling themselves that after
1948. before that they were just arabs.

the fact is....the name jerusalem, or even al-quds, never once appears in
the koran.

the fact is....the borders of british palestine, were completaly arbitrary
and had no cultural or religous meanings. palestine, lebanon, jordan,
syria, iraq, are all made up countries created after ww1. they are no more
real countries then new hampshire and kansas are. they are all arabs...that
is their nationality.

the fact is...PALESTINE IS A LIE!!!!!

Israel forced a small number of Arabs to leave.

Israel’s war of Independence was from May 15, 1948 until March 1949.
However, the fighting actually began in the fall of 1947. A few Arabs began
to flee as soon as the fighting began. Many of the first to leave were
wealthy Arabs who sold their properties to Jews before leaving. What was
left was poor Arabs that were mostly renters, not land owners. Then in May
and June of 1948 the invading Arab armies began demanding that Arabs leave
so as not to get caught in the crossfire between the Israeli and Arab
forces. The Arab leaders promised the fleeing Arabs that in a few weeks they
could come back and take possession of the Jew’s property, after all the
Jews had been killed. In some cases such as in Haifa, the Jews begged the
Arabs not to go. Golda Meir was sent to Haifa to tell the Arabs that they
would be safe if they just stayed put. The Arabs left anyway because they
feared being viewed as traitors by other Arabs.

The first cease fire in the fighting came on June 10, 1948. Up until this
time none of the thousands of Arabs that left, had been forced from their
homes by the Israelis.

The fighting resumed on the July 9th. The two Arab cities of Lod and Ramla
were crucial to Israel. Lod had the country’s only international airport
and Ramla was being used as a major base by the Arabs. Moshe Dayan attacked
Lod and the battle only lasted 47 minutes before the Arabs ran in retreat.
Ben Gurion was afraid that the Arabs would become a fifth column so he
ordered Dayan to expel the Arabs. This was the first time that Arabs had
been forced from their homes by the Israelis. Then Dayan took Ramla and
forced the Arabs to leave there also.

The Arabs claim that a million Arabs were forced to leave. That is a lie.
The truth is that between 472,000 to 650,000 Arabs left. Only a few of
these actually owned land. Now more that 3 million of them want to return to
property they never owned.

We must never forget that on Sept.12, 2001, Israel's flags were flying at
half-staff and the Palestinians were dancing in the streets.
