one of the arguments of holocaust deniers is that there is no net loss of
jews between 1938 and 1945..and even till today.
most estimates put the world jewish population in the 1930s at between 16.5
and 18 million jews. after the war, most estimates put the jewish
population at around 11 million. and today, most estimates put the world
jewish population at around 13 million. the columbia encyclopedia puts the
world jewish population in 1990 at almost 18 million...which is insane.
they also state that there are 8 million jews in the americas, with 5.7
million in the usa. there are around 300,000 in canada. that means there
are 2 million jews in south america? give me a break. they also say there
are 3.5 million in israel and 3.5 million in europe. that would mean there
are 2.8 million jews in africa and asia...which is clearly a terrible error.
so the fact is....there were around 17 million jews before ww2...and around
11 million jews after ww2. the world jewish population has limped head by 2
million..in more then 50 years. so as the numbers go, around 6 million jews
disapeared off the face of the earth during ww2. there may have been only 5
million deaths during the holocaust...or maybe even 7 million. but the
numbers dont lie, and close to 6 million did indeed die.
